Karim is a stylist and Aveda Institute graduate who brings curiosity, care, and a thoughtful perspective to his work behind the chair. He is continuing to grow his skills through hands-on experience as an assistant to Verbena’s owner, Matteo, while building a strong foundation in guest care and hairstyling.

Karim’s connection to hair became especially personal through his own journey learning to care for and style his wavy hair. That experience helped shape his interest in working with texture and his understanding of how personal hair can be. Before becoming a stylist, Karim earned a bachelor’s degree and worked in a microbiology lab, bringing a detail-oriented and observant mindset to his creative work.

Outside the salon, Karim enjoys fashion, gardening, staying active, and playing video games. His approach is rooted in dignity, respect, and natural hospitality, with a passion for celebrating each guest’s individuality.
